6 people wounded in 5 Cleveland shootings on Monday night

CLEVELAND - Monday evening was a busy night for the Cleveland Police Department as they were called to shootings at five different locations on the east side that left six people wounded. 

The first shooting took place at 8:45 p.m., as officers were called to a shooting in the 3400 block of E. 119th Street. A man of unknown age was wounded in the leg. 

15 minutes later, a man received a gunshot wound in the 17000 block of Lake Shore and was taken to University Hospitals. Also at 9:00 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in the back at the 1400 block of Larchmont.  He was initially taken to Cleveland Clinic Euclid Hospital before being transported to MetroHealth Medical Center by Life Fight.

At 9:30 p.m., another shooting took place at the corner of E. 94th Street and Hilgert, as a 34-year-old man was shot in the face. He was taken to University Hospital via private auto. 

Then at 10:30 p.m., a 44 year-old man was wounded in the abdomen and a 27-year-old sustained a wound to the back at the shooting in the 3900 block of E. 120th Street.
