Case Western Reserve University issues security alert after shooting broadcast on Facebook Live

CLEVELAND - Officials from Case Western Reserve University issued a security alert after a man broadcast the killing of another man on the city's east side on Facebook Live Sunday. 

The incident occurred at 635 East 93rd Street. 

The suspect has been identified as Steve Stephens, a 6'1'', bald, African American male with a full beard.

"The suspect’s location at this time is not known, but we have no indication he is on the Case Western Reserve campus," authorities wrote. "Nevertheless, we encourage those of you on campus to stay indoors."

No additional victims have been found at this time.

He is driving a white Ford Fusion with temporary tags.

He is considered armed and dangerous, if seen, call 911.
