CLEVELAND - It's been a heck of a year, Cleveland.
Just to recap, the city celebrated a trio of championships thanks to Stipe Miocic, the Lake Erie Monsters and Cleveland Cavaliers. In July, we hosted the Republican National Convention without any extreme acts of violence or threats. In late October, the Indians took us on a wild World Series ride, falling just one win short of the title. And though it took place in Columbus, many Buckeye alumni in the Cleveland area celebrated one of Ohio State's biggest wins over Michigan last weekend.
It's safe to say this was one of Cleveland's best years ever. So celebrate with some of these Christmas gift ideas.
Stipe Miocic was the first to snap Cleveland's championship drought with a UFC heavyweight championship in May. He went on to defend his title in Cleveland in September. Check out these shirts honoring our hometown hero:

Lake Erie (now Cleveland) Monsters
The Monsters brought home the Calder Cup, marking the second of Cleveland's three titles this year. Celebrate their win with some Calder Cup gear.
It goes without saying that the Cavs' NBA Finals championship had the biggest impact on the city. The Warriors blew a 3-1 lead and the rest -- The Shot, The Block, The Stop -- is history.
Republican National Convention
Political affiliations aside, we're proud of the city of Cleveland for hosting a successful RNC. The candidate was polarizing but the city kept its composure and kept everyone safe while the convention ran smoothly.
Sure, we're disappointed the Indians didn't win the historic World Series but we're so grateful for the fun postseason ride. Next year's team appears to be just as good (if not better, barring injuries) so gear up for another playoff run.
It was one of the biggest games in college football history. The Game between Ohio State and Michigan went to double overtime and ended on a Curtis Samuel 15-yard touchdown run to give the Buckeyes a 30-27 win of epic proportions. No matter where you live now, if you went to Ohio State, you're always a Buckeye.
