Cleveland Police: Man uses gun to steal kid's bicycle

CLEVELAND -- Police are currently investigating what appears to be an aggravated robbery which occurred at 7 p.m. July 8 at 2103 West 38th Street.

Police say the victims are two boys, ages 9 and 5. The boys told police that they were outside their home riding on a bicycle and skateboard when a man approached them and demanded the bicycle.

The man reportedly pushed the 5-year-old down and pointed a handgun at the 9-year-old. He then left the area on the bicycle southbound on West 38th street.

Police say the suspect is described as black, 28, standing 5'9" tall and weighing 170 lbs.

The stolen bicycle is a kid's mountain bike, black in color, with "Schwinn" written in orange on the frame.
