CLEVELAND -- Police have released information on an additional vehicle stolen from a car dealership where a couple was killed April 14.
Authorities held a press conference at 4 p.m. Friday and said they are now also searching for a blue, 4-door 2006 blue Mercedes Benz SL was stolen from Mr. Cars, Inc. last Friday.
Police had also been searching for a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe and a 2008 BMW 528i. They say the Tahoe, which was originally believed to be stolen, was actually purchased earlier in the week.
They also updated some general information regarding the investigation. Officials said Michael Kuzik, 50, was found shot at his desk inside the dealership. His wife, Trina Kuzik, 45, was found near the rear of the building.
The couple's dog had also been killed and authorities said that the dog was taken to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office to have its teeth swabbed in case the dog may have bitten whomever shot the Kuziks and possible DNA could be retrieved.
Police ask that anyone with information call the Cleveland Police Homicide Unit at 216-623-5464 or CrimeStoppers at 216-252-7463.
The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office and CrimeStoppers have offered a $7,500 reward for information leading to an arrest and prosecution.
Police reiterated that the missing BMW was found Thursday night parked in the 3800 block of West 48th Street. Officers arrested one man in the area on unrelated warrants. Police say he is not a suspect in this case.
No suspects have been identified in the double murder.
It was last Friday when the Kuziks and their dog were found shot to death at Mr. Cars Inc. on East 185th Street.
The couple owned the dealership and had been found by their 19-year-old son.
