Cleveland woman, 69, shot by 3 in hoodies outside her home

CLEVELAND - Police were called to 1169 East 60th Street at 12:35 a.m. today after a neighbor said three with hoodies were shooting into the home there.

Police say that the woman inside the home, 69, was struck by the bullets in her hand and her cheek

Police arrived and EMS was treating the victim and confirmed she’d been shot in the cheek and hand.  She was taken to University Hospitals for treatment.

Police say a neighbor reported that he saw three males outside of the home, one of whom was on the porch knocking on the door. 

The male who was knocking then left the porch and all three males began shooting at the house, the neighbor told police.

The suspects were described as young males wearing dark hoodies.
