Man arrested at Hopkins for carrying concealed weapon

CLEVELAND -- A Pennsylvania man was arrested at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport over the weekend for carrying a concealed weapon.

According to police, on April 13, while passing through TSA screening an x-ray machine showed a handgun inside a bag carried by Mohammad Damavandi, 42, of Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. Inside the bag officers recovered an unloaded handgun and ammunition for a different caliber weapon.

Damavandi was taken into custody and the weapon confiscated.
