Neighbors say vacant building was firebombed

CLEVELAND -- Cleveland fire crews responded to the area of West 56th Street and Storer Avenue for a fire Sunday evening just before 6 p.m.

Smoke could be seen from miles away.

Fire crews on scene say the building is abandoned.

They responded to the same location just last night for a reported fire. That fire was extinguished and is a separate incident from today's fire.

There's no official word on what may have caused the building to go up in flames. However, neighbors say someone firebombed the building. Investigators will be tasked with determining what started the fire.

The building was once home to Helen's Cafe.
