CLEVELAND – The No Hero in Heroin contest will give high school and college students ages 15-24 a chance to shed light on an increase on heroin overdose deaths, a growing epidemic in Northeast Ohio.
Through a video and essay contest, students will have the opportunity to tell a story about heroin or opiate addiction, recovery and or the human experience.
Video contestants must have a video presentation no longer than 90 seconds in length and must be submitted electronically no later than June 7, 2015.
Essay contestants must have an essay no longer than 500 words in the form of an essay, short story or poem.
