At least 10 drug overdoses in Cuyahoga County over Labor Day weekend

Drug overdoses continue to rise in Cuyahoga County.

According to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office,  the county saw at least 10 deaths due to overdoses on heroin, fentanyl, carfentanil, or some combination of the drugs just during Labor Day weekend.

Fourteen overdoses have already been reported so far in the month of September.


August saw a minimum of 52 deadly overdoses--a record for the highest amount of fatality overdoses in just one month, officials said. 

Authorities continue to investigate.
