Brennan's Colony to reopen after owner's murder

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio -- It has been weeks since Brennan's Colony closed after its owner was murdered inside.

Tuesday, Brennan's Colony reopens to the public at 4 p.m. and will only be serving drinks. By Friday, the kitchen will reopen with a limited menu.

61-year-old Jim Brennan was fatally shot inside the restaurant on June 30.

Two sets of brothers, who face charges in the incident, have pleaded not guilty.

Brennan's Colony is located at 2299 Lee Road.

News of the restaurant's reopening brought excited reactions on Facebook.

"I'm so happy to read this! I can't wait to visit the Colony next time I'm back home in Cleveland," Robin Vance said.

"Fabulous! We'll be there!" Gail Emmet wrote.

"Welcome back!!! We've missed you," Cari Richer Ross said.
