Drivers heading out of Cleveland on I-77 may want to find an alternate route from Thursday night into Friday morning.
The Ohio Department of Transportation says crews working on the I-77 bridge replacement project will be pouring concrete for the new bridge deck overnight Thursday.
To keep crews safe, the I-77 South ramp to I-480 East and the two right lanes of I-77 South between Grant and I-480 will be closed from Thursday night at 9 p.m. until Friday morning (May 9) at 5:30 a.m.
Drivers headed south on I-77 headed for I-480 eastbound will be detoured via I-490 westbound to SR 176 southbound to I-480 E.
Other motorists will be detoured via Rockside Road to I-77 northbound to I-480 eastbound. ODOT says ll work is weather permitting.
