Cleveland | Man dead after crash had apparent gunshot wound

CLEVELAND -- The Cleveland Police Department's Homicide Unit is investigating the death of a man early Friday.

First responders were called to a motor-vehicle accident at East 127th Street and Ferris Avenue about 1:45 a.m.

Crews arrived to find an unresponsive man in an SUV that had driven onto the lawn of a home.

Firefighters forced entry to the vehicle and discovered the man had what appeared to be a gunshot wound. He was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he died.

The Cuyahoga County medical examiner identified him as Arturio Young, 19, of Cleveland.

The incident remains under investigation.

There have been no arrests, and police have no suspect info to release.
