CLEVELAND --- There are two new video boards at FirstEnergy Stadium: Home of the Cleveland Browns. They're the fourth largest in the league.
If you're not watching them at the Browns' first home pre-season game, you've got two other big-time sporting events Saturday night.
Brad Dodge, who works at the Clevelander Bar and Grill said it should make for an exciting night.
"Three major venues at the same time," Dodge told Channel 3's Hilary Golston. "I don't think we've had that yet since I've worked here."
The first event of the night is a 7:05 p.m. Indians' game at Progressive Field.
The first Browns' home pre-season game, kicks off at 8 p.m., with a fabulous facelift at FirstEnergy Stadium
With the same start time as the Browns in a different arena, the Gladiators have a chance at their first title. The Clevelander Bar and Grill will be the spot for them to congregate after the game. "The Gladiators as you can see, if you look up there... they've actually rented out our extra floor," Dodge told Golston. "As soon as the game's over… win or lose... hopefully win... they'll be up there."
On the ground, the city will be a buzz with 100,000 people expected to come downtown. Paul Mattis has decided to steer clear of the commotion, but thinks it's good for Cleveland. "This place is gonna look like New York city. It's gonna be flooded with people."
The parking lots will be at a premium come Saturday night. A lot off West 9th is asking $25 today and $30 tomorrow.
