Parma: Man with mobile meth lab identified, charged

PARMA -- Police have now identified and charged a Wooster man who was stopped on Snow Road at 3 a.m. Monday for a traffic violation at the intersection of Snow Road and Chevrolet Boulevard.

He was taken into custody after police saw drugs and related paraphernalia inside of his vehicle and in the vehicle's trunk used in conjunction with one another to manufacture methamphetamine.

Police say the man is John A. Chandler, 43, of Wooster, Ohio.

He is currently being held at the Parma Police Detention Center on a $100,000 bond on a charge of illegal manufacture of drugs, a second degree felony.

He is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing in front of Judge Deanna O'Donnell at 11:30 a.m. April 15.
