Salons train to spot human trafficking

CLEVELAND -- Toledo ranks fourth in the country in human trafficking, the second-fastest growing crime in the nation.

Children and adults are vulnerable to predators that give them the impression that they are safe. Victims are then manipulated, threatened, abused and sold for sex. And it's happening in our neighborhoods.

If you need help or are concerned about someone who may be the victim of trafficking: Call 911 or 1-888-3737-888, or text HELP to 233733.

Locally, Bellefaire JCB has a 24-hour helpline at 216-570-8010. You can visit their website at
