Sin Tax, Issue 1 and Joyce race top ballot

CLEVELAND -- The hottest issue on Tuesday's ballot is the decision facing Cuyahoga County voters.

They must decide whether to renew the sin tax to make repairs to The Q, Progressive Field and FirstEnergy Stadium.

Statewide, Ohio voters must decide whether to approve Issue 1. That would let the state keep issuing bonds to pay for roads, bridges and other infrastructure repairs in all 88 counties.

Over 10 years, almost $2 billion of bonds would create 3,500 jobs.

And the hottest primary race pits 14th District Republican Congressman David Joyce against Tea Party backed challenger Matt Lynch.
