Street to be named after former Bedford principal

BEDFORD. OHIO - The city of Bedford has announced plans to name a street after the late Paul G. Ward, a former Bedford School District principal who died suddenly during a spin class in May.

According to a news release, Caryl drive, the street on which Carylwood Intermediate School sits, will be renamed after Ward in a ceremony Wednesday. The ceremony is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.

Ward died May 2 at the age of 46. His son, Denzel, is a sophomore for the Ohio State football team.
