Driver dead after early-morning crash on Euclid Avenue

CLEVELAND -- Police tell WKYC that, just before 6 a.m. today, Walter R. Carr, 66, was driving a  2005 Chrysler Pacifica westbound on Euclid Avenue.

Police say he lost control of the Pacifica, possibly due to a medical emergency, and it struck  the curb of the median island, went into the median and struck a tree.

Cleveland EMS arrived and found Carr dead.

Police say there were no overt signs of serious trauma or violence discovered at that time.
