East Cleveland man abducted at gunpoint

EAST CLEVELAND -

Officials held a press conference to address the public regarding a man who was abducted at gunpoint by two men.

Police say Charles V. Barnes, 47, was last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Barnes was reportedly abducted from his mother's residence at the 1800 block of Knowles Street. The suspects reportedly forced Barnes from his vehicle into his residence, then back to his vehicle. Police say they have reason to believe Barnes was injured on scene. His mother also may have been assaulted.

Police have no description regarding the two male suspects, but say they took a tan-colored 2005 Buick Lasabre, license place GRL6765.

WKYC has a crew  in East Cleveland, where police and BCI are on scene.
