Chardon man arrested after OD with child in car

Man found in Wal-Mart parking lot, passed out from an overdose on heroin.

CHARDON, OHIO - Chardon Police arrested a man who had overdosed in the Walmart parking lot, according to Police Chief Scott Niehus.

On Thursday, police were called to Walmart after a woman in the parking lot said a man was passed out in his car with a child inside, according to Niehus.

Officers and EMS responded and found Aron Carver, 22, passed out with a two-year-old child in the car.

EMS used Narcan to revive Carver.

Niehus said Carver was charged with OVI and child endangering.
