Oberlin superintendent says upside-down flag was a prank

OBERLIN, OHIO - An American flag outside Oberlin High School was spotted flying upside down early Wednesday.

According to the Chronicle-Telegram, Superintendent David Hall said the flag was corrected right side up as soon as school employees realized what had happened.

Hall told the Chronicle-Telegram that he intends to check the school's surveillance cameras, but does not consider the incident a form of vandalism. He also said he believes it was merely a prank.
