Man robs Lorain bank, threatens teller

LORAIN, OHIO - The FBI says the Northwest Savings Bank at 3660 Oberlin Avenue in Lorain was robbed Saturday morning.

It was 10:23 a.m. when a man entered the Northwest Savings Bank and presented a demand note, indicating a robbery and a threat of physical harm if the teller did not comply.

He is described as being in his mid-20's, about 5'8" to 5'10"  wearing a pink Nike hoodie and jeans. The hood was pulled up over his face.  

He left the bank on foot.

Tips can be provided to Lorain Police Department at 440-204-2100 or the Cleveland Division of the FBI at 216-522-1400. 

Tips can remain anonymous. Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individual responsible.
