Medina Police search for Cleveland man wanted in robbery

MEDINA – Medina Police are searching for a Cleveland man, 33, wanted in connection with a robbery at 395 W. Union Avenue here.

Antwan R. Gideon, of Cleveland, is charged with robbery, a felony of the 2nd degree.

On June 29, the victim was assaulted during a fight which started at 395 W. Union #6.

During the violent assault, the victim's cell phone was stolen, police said.

The victim sustained injuries requiring surgery and was taken to Medina General Hospital.

Gideon's accomplice, Randy D. Tuttle, 31, was also charged in connection with the robbery.

Tuttle was arrested in Garfield Heights on Sunday at 5:18 p.m. and he was found in possession of drugs during the traffic stop. Tuttle is also charged with trafficking in drugs in Medina.

Detective Amy Kerr is leading the investigation.
