BEREA -- Huron resident Edgar A. Berry, 38, a teacher and band director at Olmsted Falls High School, was arraigned in Berea Municipal Court this morning on charges of sexual battery, according to municipal court officials.
Court records show that Berry is being held on $500,000 bond and will have a preliminary hearing at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The police arrest warrant and court records allege that he had sexual relations with a female student on Dec. 4.
He was arrested by Olmsted Township police.
