Here's what's going on with those in Northeast Ohio watching the Inauguration from the shores of Lake Erie. Channel 3's Web reporter Kim Wendel keeps you in the loop online.

1:14 p.m. The closing remarks via satellite from C.J. Prentiss, special representative to Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland.

12:41 p.m. Karamu actor Sean Booker is recreating Obama's speech from the Democratic National Convention.

12:26 p.m. Obama has finished his speech amid cheers from the crowd here but now they are silent again, as the Inaugural continues.

Noon: And the crowd here went wild as Obama took the oath of office, smiling and cheering for two minutes straight. The cheers got louder as Obama stepped up to speak.

11:42 a.m. The students screamed and shouted as they got their first look at Barack Obama on the jumbo screens. I don't think I've ever seen so many students with such rapt attention.

11:20 a.m. Cleveland schools CEO Dr. Eugene Sanders is wrapping up his welcoming remarks.

11:05 a.m. There's musical tribute to our nation's armed forces as students continue to arrive here at the Wolstein Center. Every Cleveland public high school is already here, along with students from Brush High School, Admiral King and Sandusky High School.

Students are sitting in groups but parents, ordinary citizens, and others surround them.

Now the Superintendent of Cleveland schools Dr. Eugene Sanders is onstage and welcoming the crow "to celebrate history today."

10:38 a.m. The program at Cleveland State University's Wolstein Center was delayed from its 10 a.m. start. East Cleveland's Shaw High School Marching Band entered and the James F. Rhodes color guard presented the colors.

10:30 a.m. The doors opened just about half an hour ago at the Palace Theater in Playhouse Square in Cleveland. The Inauguration will be streamed live there and its free and open to the public.
