WEST CHESTER, Ohio -- Police near Cincinnati are looking for a Shaker Heights native who has been missing since Thursday night.
According to our sister station WLWT in Cincinnati, Patrice Battle, 33, was last seen on Thursday in the Trails of West Chester apartment complex on Wyndtree Drive. Battle, who is the director of enrollment at the Art Institute of Cincinnati, is believed to be driving a 1998 Saab with Ohio license plate No. EOS3403. Police are concerned that Battle didn't return home Thursday because it is out of character, and believe she didn't disappear voluntarily. Most of Battle's family members from the Cleveland have gone to Cincinnati to help in her search. Her niece told Channel 3 News that she moved from Shaker Heights to the Cincinnati area two years ago to take the job the Art Institute. She said her family is very worried about her and says she would never leave behind her 14 year old daughter. "She was happy when she came home from work Wednesday, (and) she had had a great day at work," said the woman's mother, Pat Battle. Anyone with information about Battle's whereabouts is asked to call West Chester police department at 513-777-2231, or email the family at helpusfindpatrice@gmail.com.
