EASTLAKE -- Police arrested a resident Saturday on a failure-to-appear charge. Once booked, she was interviewed regarding a theft that occurred last year on March 18.

Crystal Esposito, 46, was entrusted with watching a neighbor's home to care for the animals while the homeowner was hospitalized.

During the homeowner's 10-day hospital stay, Esposito is accused of clearing out the home of approximately $2,813.11 worth of money and jewelry. Esposito then moved out of her own house.
