North America's largest Oktoberfest kicked off today in Cincinnati, or as they call it today, "Zinzinnati."
The 40th annual celebration opened with the running of the weiners. About a hundred dachshunds competed for the title of "Top Dog."
The festival also features the world's largest chicken dance.
More than 500,000 people are expected to pack downtown Cincinnati this weekend. The event coincides with the Bavarian Beer Festival in Munich, Germany.
