Plane makes emergency landing on Cedar Point beach

SANDUSKY -- A small plane was forced to make an emergency landing on the beach at Cedar Point Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Sandusky Post of the State Highway Patrol, the pilot hit a duck and was forced to make the landing. No one was injured.

The patrol received the call about 4:30 p.m.

A dispatcher didn't have any information regarding where the plane took off from or where it was headed.
