STREETSBORO - The pictures show shiny new bikes in a dumpster behind the Walmart in Streetsboro. Some of them even have tags.
The viewer who noticed them believes they should have been sold as-is or else donated. Some retail for $100 or more.
A spokesperson for Walmart, however, said they are no longer good. He claims they are up to four years old, that they have been stripped of their parts, and that there is no longer room for them inside the store.
But as the saying goes, “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.”
Dumpster diving videos are all over YouTube, while on Facebook, several groups are now dedicated to the craft.
Some divers even sell their loot, with cosmetics being particularly popular.
