SHEFFIELD LAKE, OHIO - Police are still not releasing much information regarding the situation in Sheffield Lake regarding a 911 call from a Lake Road residence.
Lake Road has reopened to traffic and the Sheffield lake Police Chief tells WKYC that it is a "high probability of a murder-suicide....one male and one female dead."
He does not know the ages of the victims.
Lorain County SWAT was called out to the scene just after 1:30 p.m. after there was a 911 call from a residence next to the community center. Sources say several shots were heard on the 911 call before the line went dead.
About 3:15 p.m., the large SWAT unit, nicknamed 'Mother' arrived at the scene. By 3:45 p.m., it appears the situation is over as SWAT units are leaving.
Still no word on exactly what happened.
