SOLON, Ohio -- Solon Police say that, just after 9 p.m. Wednesday, employees were closing the Ulta Beauty store at 6025 Kruse Drive when the suspect pulled the door open and pointed a revolver at an employee's face, police said.
The suspect then forced the employee back into the store and demanded that she open the cash register, police said.
Police said the employees were unable to do so and were forced to open a safe and hand over money.
Afterwards, the suspect ran out of the store and the employees called 911.
Police say the witnesses described the suspect as possibly a black female, standing 5’5” – 5’8” tall, with a slightly heavy-set build, dark brown eyes and wearing all black clothing, including a mask across the lower part of her face.
Witnesses told police she was carrying an older looking silver revolver.
The Solon Police Detective Bureau is handling the investigation.
