JACKSON TOWNSHIP -- The State Highway Patrol will hold an OVI checkpoint from 9 p.m. to midnight Wednesday in Jackson Township.
The checkpoint, done in partnership with the Jackson Police Department, will be at 5685 Dressler Road Northwest.
Federal grant funds will pay for the checkpoint, which is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers.
In addition to the checkpoint, patrols will be stepped up in the area.
