"These funds will ensure the physical infrastructure of our schools matches the quality education that Ohio's teachers provide," Brown said.

"These funds will create immediate construction jobs and a better learning environment for Ohio children."

The federal bonds are supposed to give school districts a low-cost alternative for funding construction projects.

Ohio will receive a total of $430 million dollars and the Cleveland School District will receive $51 million in bonds.
