Witnesses say that an argument occurred between a parking lot attendant and patron at the East 9th Street and Sumner Avenue parking lot.

The suspect, Matthew K. Warmus and a female acquaintance paid the victim to park, when they began arguing over the parking spot and money.

The parking lot attendant, David J. Williams, 27, of Maple Heights, was shot once near his left ear, and twice in his abdomen.

Cleveland Police confirm that both people had weapons but only one of the weapons was fired.

Cleveland EMS took the victim to MetroHealth Medical Center where he died.

Warmus is in custody and was booked at the Justice Center.

The investigation is being handled by the Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit.
