According to the Coast Guard the man fell from a 36-foot charter sailboat around 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

The man was the boat's captain and it's reported that witnesses saw the man go overboard.

They called off the search around 11 p.m. Saturday night and it is unclear if or when the search will resume.
