This is the second Hattie Larlham dog boarding facility to open, as the original Hattie Larlham Doggie Day Care & Boarding has been open in Green.

Both Hattie Larlham Doggie Day Care & Boarding facilities are cage-free, pet boarding facility operations that employ people with developmental disabilities interested in pursing a career in the pet or animal care industry and their job coaches.
Both facilities have been dubbed "doggy resorts," being that they features several themed rooms for the dogs to stay in.

The Twinsburg location has 25 fully furnished rooms and offers the same long- and short-term pet boarding service that the Green location provides.
It also features a retail section to sell dog collars, dog clothes and other pet-related items.
Hattie Larlham Doggie Day Care & Boarding in Twinsburg is located at 7996 Darrow Road, at the corner of State Route 91 and Twinsburg Road. It is housed in the same building as Pawsibilities, the Humane Society of Greater Akron.
The Twinsburg Township Service Department, Hattie Larlham's executive offices and Hattie Larlham Constant Companions are also located in the building.
