CLEVELAND -- Tribe fans were in for special treat at Sunday's game as Senator John Glenn was there to throw out the opening pitch.

The Senator's scheduled appearance was to mark the 50th anniversary of his historic flight around the Earth.

Although the mood was celebratory, Glenn took a moment to remember fellow Ohio astronaut Neil Armstrong.

When asked how the history books would remember Armstrong, Senator Glenn said he hoped they would think about Neil as he did -- a dedicated American who was proud to represent his country not only in space, but in the Korean War as well.

Senator Glenn was the first American to orbit the Earth. He was joined by Ohio astronaut Mike Foreman and NASA Glenn Director Ray Lugo.
