But the glory days are gone for the trendy club.
Wednesday, a judge sent the owner to prison, for selling cocaine and other drugs and using the club to launder profits.
According to his defense lawyer, 31-year-old Emad Silmi was a drug seller who used $1 million in drug profits to build Moda.
The club is now closed for good.
Silmi was sentenced to five years in Federal Prison Wednesday.
He could have been sentenced for up to 20 years but talked and his conversations led to arrests and imprisonment for eleven others involved in drug trafficking in Cleveland.
