Bond set at $500K for teen arrested in Nordonia HS threat

MACEDONIA -- An 18-year-old student has been arrested and charged with inducing panic in connection with a threat made toward Nordonia High School via Twitter.

Police searched the teen's home, mobile phone and computer and determined the student did not have the ability to carry out the threat.

The teen, identified by police as Mitchell Biss, appeared in Stow Municipal Court. He entered a not guilty plea and bond was set at $500,000.

Biss was enrolled in Nordonia's online Digital Knights program. He did not physically attend Nordonia HS.

Police say Biss was involved in a dispute with another student.
