Fire crews respond to Twinsburg plant explosion

TWINSBURG, Ohio -- Several fire departments responded to an explosion at Reserve Alloys, a metal scrap plant, Thursday evening.

The building, located at 1831 Highland Road, was evacuated by the time emergency crews arrived around 7:10 p.m.

Employees told fire crews a large explosion happened, which set off the building's sprinkler system. Crews put out the fire about ten minutes after they arrived.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
