Jury: Twinsburg man guilty, stabbed wife 103 times

AKRON -- Summit County Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh confirmed that a jury found Glenn Wong, 51, of Twinsburg, guilty of two counts of Aggravated Murder; Murder; Kidnapping, Felonious Assault and Domestic Violence.

Walsh said that, on the morning of Feb. 24, 2013, Wong and his wife, Tami, got into a brief argument.

He left their bedroom, walked past their two young children in the family room and into the kitchen, where he retrieved two large knives from the knife block, according to prosecutors..

Wong then returned to his bedroom and stabbed Tami 103 times, Walsh said.

The couple's 10-year-old daughter heard her mother screaming for help and called 911.

When Twinsburg police arrived, they found Wong on top of Tami. She died en route to the Cleveland Clinic in Twinsburg.

Judge Paul Gallagher will sentence Wong at 9 a.m. May 2.
