Twinsburg man sentenced to life for wife's stabbing death

AKRON -- Glenn Wong was sentenced to life in prison on Monday for the 2013 stabbing death of his wife, Tami. He will not be eligible for parole.

Wong, 52, and his wife got into an argument the morning of February 24, 2013 in their Twinsburg home. According to prosecutors, the argument ended with Wong stabbing his wife 103 times using a knives from their kitchen.

The couple's two young children were in a nearby room. Their 10-year-old daughter heard the attack and called 911. Tami died on the way to Cleveland Clinic's Twinsburg campus.

On March 28, a jury found Wong guilty of two counts of aggravated murder, murder, kidnapping and domestic violence.
