MINEOLA, N.Y. -- Ten men have been arrested in New York, and two others are being sought, on charges of being part of a sports gambling operation.
Authorities say a "wire room" in Queens handled bets on college and professional football for the multimillion-dollar operation.
They say undercover detectives made bets in March and again in early November.
The ten men arrested Monday pleaded not guilty to promoting gambling and conspiracy.
