A sex offender traveling between Ohio and Pennsylvania is the Fugitive of the Week.

William Caldero Jr. is wanted for escape and for failing to register as a sex offender.

The U.S. Marshal says he has a long and violent criminal history and may be using the name of his five-year-old.

"Our primary concern with this fugitive is that he has a history of violence and he also is a convicted sex offender, and by failing to register, obviously he is a risk to the community," Assistant Chief Deputy Drew Deserto said.

Caldero may be in Cleveland Heights. He's also been seen on the west side, near West 77th and Madison.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information that leads to his capture.

The 24 hour hotline number is 1-866-4-WANTED. Callers can remain anonymous.
