Wayne County: Search for cause in house explosion

WAYNE COUNTY -- Four people managed to escape without injury Tuesday afternoon after an explosion at a house in Wayne County.

The four were on the first floor of the home when there was an explosion upstairs.

The blast happened at the house in Canaan Township near Creston.

Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to an upstairs bedroom.

The home's owner says it's unclear what caused the explosion, but he's glad everyone made it out okay.

Firefighters say it could be several days before the cause of the blast is determined.
