CLEVELAND -- Shopping for back-to-school clothes can get pretty expensive. So for families who struggle to make ends meet, two teens came up with an alternative to help them get the things they need.
It looks like just another garage sale, with racks full of jackets, shirts and pants.
But this sale isn't about making money, it's about outfitting children from struggling families with back-to-school gear.
It's called "Share What You Wear," the brainchild of two Orange High School students.
With the help of an army of volunteers, Zoe Bairs and Samantha Zabell set up the Fairhill Center in Cleveland with all the donated clothes they've collected, then let the children shop like they are in a department store.
So what starts in the fall in Zoe's basement, ends with a shopping trip of a lifetime for these kids.
A lot of donations that don't make the cut for the sale are donated to Goodwill.
The girls have even won a state award for the project.
