
CLEVELAND -- Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Tim McGinty sentenced Gratus Ingram, 59, of Parma, to 10 years in prison today. Ingram was found to have child pornography on his home computer.
On. Sept. 30, Ingram pleaded guilty to 35 felony counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, 26 felony counts of having a minor in nude material or performance, and one felony count of possessing criminal tools.
The Parma Police Department had received a tip that Ingram had child pornography on his home computer.
On April 24, 2008, the Parma Police obtained a search warrant to search his apartment located at 5717 Chevrolet Boulevard.
The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force conducted a forensic exam on Ingram's computer.
Ingram had 3,449 images and 52 videos of children being sexually abused and exploited.
According to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office spokesman Ryan Miday, Ingram is now classified as a Tier III Sexual Offender.
