CLEVELAND -- An house fire on the city's west side has claimed the lives of four people.

According to the Cleveland Fire Department, they responded to the home on West 32nd Street just before 2 a.m. Saturday morning.

They say when crews arrived on the scene, a man was hanging out of a first-floor window, trying to escape the flames.

Firefighters were able to pull the man out and take him to MetroHealth Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.

When crews searched the rest of the house, three people were found second-floor bedrooms. They died from their injuries.

No word yet on how the fire started as the fire is still under investigation.
